Pro Tector Z certified for USA and Canada

Grupo Morón’s Pro Tector Z insole obtains ASTM and CSA certifications for safety footwear manufacturing in the USA and Canada

Grupo Morón, faithful to its philosophy of continuous innovation and ongoing product quality improvement, has successfully adapted its Pro Tector Z anti-perforation insoles from the onProtector series to the demanding regulations of North American markets.

Regulatory compliance in each country is a mandatory requirement and the main barrier to entry for accessing new export markets. In this case, Grupo Morón has improved its manufacturing process to fully comply with ASTM F2413-18 and CSA Standard Z195-14, in force in the United States and Canada respectively.

These standards define the minimum requirements for certification of protective footwear, allowing personal protective equipment manufactured in these markets to incorporate Grupo Morón’s Pro Tector Z anti-perforation insoles, as the results obtained in puncture resistance and flex resistance testing have been excellent.

Internationally patented, Pro Tector Z insoles are made of non-metallic textile materials and replace traditional steel insoles, as they are significantly lighter, more flexible, absorbent, and comfortable. They also provide a larger protection surface and integrate perfectly into the sole during direct injection manufacturing processes.
