More elastic, more absorbent, more breathable, more comfortable, and more resistant fabrics, high-frequency printing, and new laminates are among the innovations for orthopedics, footwear, occupational protection, and sports that the company presents in Germany.
The health and well-being of end users has driven Grupo Morón’s research into specialized products that not only protect but also provide therapeutic benefits. To achieve this, the company has developed a range of treatments applied to textiles, adding new properties that were not originally present.
Aloe vera is widely known for its powerful cell-regenerating properties and its positive effects on multiple conditions thanks to its anti-inflammatory, soothing, anesthetic, refreshing, antibacterial, healing, and toning qualities.
Through nanotechnology and a microencapsulation system, Grupo Morón applies aloe vera to textiles, giving them these exceptional properties. When the fabric comes into contact with the body, microcapsules gradually and controlledly release the plant extract. In addition to maintaining the skin’s natural balance, aloe vera provides a smooth and pleasant textile finish.
Another available treatment uses silver ions for their antibacterial properties, humidity control, and thermoregulating effects. Silver also has antistatic properties, as it is an excellent natural conductor of electricity, helping the skin’s nerve endings discharge static electricity. Silver ions generate a magnetic field that improves blood circulation and reduces inflammation.
Fragrance release (eucalyptus), flame resistance, water-repellent finishes, antistatic properties, stain resistance, and climate control with phase-change nanoparticles that absorb excess body heat and release it when needed are also part of Morón’s extensive treatment catalog.
Nanoflash Technology is another key innovation presented at the fair.
This technology enables the injection of ultra-thin layers of polyurethane with high-definition detailing onto virtually any material or substrate, maintaining excellent adaptability to the body due to its flexibility and lightness. The design and application possibilities are extensive.
In footwear and sports manufacturing, it allows reinforced textiles with polyurethane elements that provide greater resistance in high-flexion, friction, or wear zones. Direct injection ensures perfect adhesion and increases resistance to traction, tearing, and abrasion.
With the appropriate design, garments and components can be produced with almost no seams, significantly reducing production costs. Eliminating seams also reduces breakage points and increases product durability.
