Grupo Morón aims to always offer the most innovative textile products on the market.
To achieve this, we are in continuous research and ongoing improvement of all aspects related to our products, including production systems, environmental respect, and the users for whom our products are designed.
As a result of this evolution, the brand’s flagship microfibers, such as onMicro and onSteam, are now classified as “Ethical Microfibers”.
This designation brings together the improvements introduced in recent months across three key areas: improved manufacturing processes, new criteria for selecting vegan raw materials, and the implementation of a recycling procedure.
During the production process of onMicro and onSteam, we have measured and significantly reduced CO₂ emissions into the atmosphere.
The solvents currently used are water-based and free of harmful agents, eliminating volatile organic compounds (VOCs) released into the atmosphere.
We optimize existing production resources to benefit future generations.
onMicro and onSteam contain no animal-derived substances. They are the first European textiles certified by the “European Vegetarian Union”.
In addition, onMicro and onSteam comply with the most demanding European standards regarding substances that may be harmful to people or the environment, such as OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Class I, REACH, and CADS.
We aim for onMicro and onSteam to remain ethical microfibers until the very end of their lifecycle. Therefore, we apply circular economy principles by offering our clients an active recycling process consisting of collecting leftover materials from production systems. These are then processed at Grupo Morón facilities and recycled for the manufacture of insoles, thereby reducing the carbon footprint.
Beauty, durability, and sustainability… all in a single microfiber.
