Arnedo Prepares the Second Batch of PPE

Grupo Morón prepares the second batch of fabrics for manufacturing protective garments for healthcare professionals

Several footwear manufacturers and textile auxiliary companies from Arnedo have joined forces and are already preparing a second batch of healthcare garments, forming a solidarity-based production chain capable of manufacturing 5,000 gowns, 1,500 shoe covers, and 5,000 caps every day.

Grupo Morón has already completed the preparation of the second production batch of water-repellent fabric suitable for manufacturing protective equipment intended for healthcare professionals involved in the fight against COVID-19.

Once the different garment components have been cut, the pieces are distributed among the collaborating footwear companies, where they are sewn using footwear stitching machines that have been adapted for this purpose.

This much-needed material is accompanied by a message of encouragement and support for all healthcare workers: You are not alone — together we will overcome this challenge!
