Convixion is Grupo Morón's circular economy project. A project committed to the environment from its inception.
At the Convixion state, high-performance horse breeding and training is carried out, all led by professional rider Sergio Morón. Additionally, Convixion combines olive cultivation for organic oil production.
The waste from horse breeding is used to fertilize the olive groves with the aim of respecting the estate's ecosystem and implementing a sustainable philosophy in the production processes.
Convixion approaches its dedication to Classical Dressage from a sustainability perspective, operating in a natural environment where ecology is combined with facilities designed for the comfort of horses and riders.
Additionally, the Convixion Textile line has recently been created with products for the care and protection of horses, all made from recycled materials.
Another key component of the Convixion project is Equ-olitex.
Equ-olitex was created to connect different economic sectors in our region, La Rioja (Spain). These sectors are: livestock, agriculture, and textile industry. The mission of this project is to obtain 100% recycled textiles from olive oil waste, aiming to promote circular economy within our sector and reduce the environmental impact of our products. This project is realized through various actions in the three sectors mentioned above.
A high-performance horse breeding center is established. The facilities are equipped with the latest advancements for sustainable horse breeding.
Objective: To produce organic fertilizer to nourish the olive plantation.
Land is prepared for the planting of 5 hectares of olive trees. This plantation will be managed 100% organically.
Objective: To produce eco-oil, an oil completely free from chemical substances.
A polymer 100% obtained from olive waste is developed to produce eco-textiles.
Objective: To produce a sustainable fabric that our customers can use in their products (footwear, fashion, orthopedics, and leisure). Equ-olitex is a unique textile in the market as no manufacturer has yet achieved producing fabric from olive oil waste.
